Trinity College Wren Library, Cambridge

This is a very exclusive library. Access by Trinity College students is open, for others it is by recommendation and approval, subject to a list of research / study goals.

Our earlier plea to visit for purposes of photography was denied. We await a new recommendation, hoping that research into woodcarvings that have survived three centuries can be as important as whatever is in this library’s books.

While we await the opportunity to take our own photographs of every piece in the library, this collection of 16 photos is a good placeholder.
